Self Care Part 2: Reframing

The last installment I wrote dealt with becoming more present, by focusing on the breath (for example) and removing distractions. Once we’re present, it’s a good time to “change the channel” on our usual thought patterns. If we look at life through a different lens, we can come away with very different feelings. Below, we’ll talk about some reframing practices; then, we’ll examine some specific focused meditations and prayers for those who are cultivating a daily practice.
