DOPC COVID-19 How-To
Colorado COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Colorado is offering the COVID-19 vaccine in a phased approach. The vaccine is free. Please see the chart below to figure out which phase you are in. As with COVID-19 testing, information and access will gradually become more and more available. We will update this information as we learn more.
Please continue to wear a mask, maintain 6 feet distance with those outside your home, and stay home when you can.
The best resource for finding out where you can be vaccinated is the CDPHE website
Watch Dr Brie's Facebook Live Video about the vaccine from 12/28/2020

CLOSE CONTACT, QUARANTINE, And Isolation information
Watch Dr Brie's Facebook Live UPDATED video from 12/4/2020 on the topic and read her posts on our Articles page
A COVID Exposure or Close Contact is defined as...
Contact to a person with COVID or positive test for cumulative 15 minutes in a 24 hours period inside or outside masked or unmasked.
Quarantine

Reason: I had a exposure to someone who is COVID positive
- Timeframe: 14 days *GOLD STANDARD* but it can be shorter under these circumstances:
- - No Symptoms after 10 DAYS, okay to end quarantine
- - Test at day 5-7 AND no symptoms at 7 DAYS, okay to end quarantine
- Watch for development of symptoms and get tested if you develop symptoms
- Stay home and limit to essential errands and, of course, wear a mask
- Avoid contact with others outside your home - this is not a time to hang out with people you haven’t seen for a while
- Tell others you’ve been around that you had exposure and that you have a pending a test if you MUST see them
- Others in your home with no direct exposure do not need to quarantine
Isolation

Reason: I am COVID positive or have symptoms (fever, loss of taste/smell, sinus, etc)
- Timeframe: 10 days from onset of symptoms + 24-72 hours fever free
- Get tested
- Stay isolated away from anyone else and monitor symptoms
- Stay home except to get medical care
- Wear a mask around others in your home and limit contact with them
