“After 4 failed IUI attempts, two fertility clinics telling us the next step was to pursue IVF, my husband and I searched for alternative options to focus on our hormones to get them checked out. That's when we found Dr. Brie. We both completed her hormone program in early 2024, adjusted our supplements, medications and diet. Within 3 months, we got PREGNANT! Everyone else wanted to push hormone treatments and invasive procedures when our underlying issues were hormone imbalances. We cannot be more grateful for Dr. Brie and her program because it focuses on root causes. We are so very happy and excited to meet our new baby boy! Thank you Dr. Brie!”

“As I hit 50, I wanted to get a baseline for my hormones. My Testosterone came back very low and after consultation, we put together a quick and easy plan, and when I retested a few months later my levels were in range and my energy and drive returned.”

Gretchen Frey, MD, FACOG
“As a former specialist in menopausal hormone prescribing, I wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Brieanna Seefeldt’s Healthy Hormones program. Responsible hormone prescribing requires a great deal of education, attention and time. Dr. Brie has been actively learning about hormone testing and prescribing for many years, and stays up to date with the latest science in this field. I’ve now retired from the clinical practice of OB/GYN, but I continue to hear from former patients and others, asking whom I would recommend to prescribe their hormone therapy. I always suggest Dr. Brie as my top choice. I feel she does the best job of combining expertise with a personalized approach, including adequate time to listen to her patients, evaluate their symptoms, and explain their results so that they can achieve a truly personalized HT regimen. Unfortunately, since the Women’s Health Initiative study hit the news headlines in 2002 with its poorly reported and even more poorly understood findings, we in the medical community have seen a whole generation of young doctors go through training with very little knowledge of, or comfort level with, prescribing menopausal hormone therapy. I am so grateful that Dr. Brie is providing this important service, and doing so in the most responsible way possible.”
FAQs
Here are some common questions we get regarding our Healthy Hormones Program
-
Our primary membership covers what you find in most primary care offices, and most family doctors will refer out to a specialist to manage and evaluate hormones. Our providers seek extra educational resources - spending time and money to bring you the most up to date integrative approach within each program. Visit copays apply to cover this extra time and expertise. This allows us to keep our primary care membership low and programs can then be added on to personalize the additional time needed to implement our unique approach. All of our providers are Certified Menopause Practitioners. Program pricing covers the extra training and expertise required.
-
Unfortunately hormone training is not included in traditional western medical education. Many women's health specialists do not feel comfortable with gentle bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Our providers have a unique lens as your primary care to understand your full health history, metabolic and genetic risk factors, family history and health goals.
-
Salivary testing approximates intracellular hormone levels which can be very different than serum hormone levels. Additionally, salivary testing can capture a cortisol curve which can show us if chronic stress and burn out are impacting your hormone symptoms. Chronic cortisol elevation can cause weight around the middle, abnormal sleep cycles and fatigue. As integrative medicine providers, we believe it is important to know if treating chronic stress impacts should be included in your treatment recommendations.
-
Hormone pellet therapy is not currently offered within our programs as pellet therapy is not built around physiologic principles. Our program is based on the Osteopathic philosophy that natural physiology is where balance begins. Nature does not implant high doses of testosterone that then falls slowly over 3-6 months....so we do not either. If you are on pellet therapy, or prefer this, we can help support your program by offering a second opinion or adding supplements and genetic testing to be sure that your pellet therapy is safe and balanced.
-
Yes! Our Healthy Hormone Assessment Programs require a 6 months primary care membership OR you can add $799 to any program costs listed and participate as a non member. This $799 includes an intake visit with a full health history. You may choose a non member Healthy Hormones Assessment Program if you are interested in "knowing where you are at" on your hormone journey. Results can be shared with your other providers and care team members. If you are interested in hormone therapy prescriptions, however, this treatment is only provided within our Hormone Maintenance programs which require a DOPC primary care membership. This requirement is because we are fundamentally a holistic primary care practice and if we are prescribing hormones with risks and benefits, we want to be sure we are keeping up with all aspects of your health!
-
Yes! We follow the same principles of gentle, bioidentical and safe hormone replacement therapy for men and women. There is a level of each assessment and maintenance program dedicated to men interested in evaluating and managing your testosterone.
-
Yes! For our members in the LGBTQ community we offer maintenance hormone therapy within our Healthy Hormones Maintenance Programs. However, we do not offer programs around gender transitions or counseling around gender affirming care. This is care best initiated within a specialty care clinic.
-
Salivary hormones and ENDO+ reflect the free/unbound fraction of hormone levels better than bloodwork. For some people this can more accurately capture levels that match to symptoms.
These tests are to look more in depth into cortisol/chronic stress and adrenal “burnout”
Saliva testing is easy, no needles to collect!
No need to come in: tests can be shipped to your home!
-
It depends on which panel you are collecting. Ask our team to be sure once the orders are in!

Age? Recommended annually in anyone over 40
For Women
Cycling? Do labs on Day 3 OR day 19-21 with day 1 counted as the first day of bleeding or spotting.
Not cycling or unpredictable cycles? Labs can be done on any day

-
Yes! As long as you bring bloodwork done within 3 months we can review outside labs within any program.
However, if the labs are more specialized: Ex: DUTCH or Function Health, then as advanced lab review fee applies. Ask for current rates!
This is best if tests are under 6 months old.

We are here to guide you to accurate information on what is safe for you with personal risk factors, and family history.
We use only bioidentical hormones, supported by supplements and lifestyle changes.
All hormones, even natural ones, can have positive and negative effects. We will guide you on how to optimize what you want and minimize what you don’t.
-
The patented triamcinolone in the pellets we use delays the rise in the serum levels of testosterone, bringing you to a higher level slowly.
This slow rise ands steady state allows for optimized symptom control.
The pellets are deposited in fatty tissue to last for months, meaning no messy gel or creams, no potential to get the medicine on others and no daily reminders.
In early perimenopause testosterone alone can help mitigate brain fog, weight gain and low libido, even before systemic estrogen is needed for hot flashes.
Non Members may participate in our EvexiPel program for an enrollment and annual fee of $799
-
We see the most fluctuation in hormone therapy users in the first 2 years. While lab testing is not always necessary, Check in visits are a must!
We want to make sure you are meeting your health goals, managing symptoms and not having concerning side effects.
Most members have quarterly visits for the first 6-12 months on therapy.
In the second year, most members move to check in every 6 months.
Once hormones are stable, annual checks ins can work for some!
-
This is when you:
Do not have fluctuating prescription doses
Are not having periods or bleeding concerns
Symptoms are managed and you are happy with your doses.
-
Healthy Hormones Maintenance visits can be combined w/ Healthy Living Coaching - ask us if you are a candidate!
-
No. Visits are for estrogen patch or pellet prescriptions and all testosterone prescriptions. Topical vaginal estrogen creams and progesterone only prescriptions do not need monitoring. Supplements and nutraceuticals for symptoms do not need monitoring.
-
Add a visit at any time. Sometimes we need to revisit advanced testing and take a deeper dive again.
