Final Thoughts from Dr. Brie

Each March, I reconnect with fellow physicians at the American Academy of Osteopathy’s Convocation—a small but deeply dedicated community, with only about 10% of D.O.s practicing hands-on osteopathic care. It’s a mix of students, seasoned clinicians, and mentors who have shaped this work for generations. I’m always reminded of my own time learning from greats like Dr. Viola Frymann, and how those teachings continue to be passed on.

This year, the biggest takeaway was simple: renewal is constant. Our bodies are always adapting, always working toward health. As one lecturer shared, we are continuously regenerating—cell by cell, day by day.

It’s a powerful reminder that even when health feels buried, it’s still there—ready to return.

May this spring support your continued path towards better health.
